Sheri knows she is doing a good job with her clients when she receives referrals from them to help other buyers and sellers. Some of her clients are now selling or purchasing their 4th or 5th home through Sheri. And,she says, "I've helped extended families make moves that involved selling homes for the parents, a few of their children and the grandparents. It's great to have that kind of trust and confidence between us."
Though she has a high referral rate, she still enjoys working with first-time homebuyers. "I love being there to hold their hand and explain the process to them. I enjoy knowing that I have helped them with one of the biggest investments they'll ever make."
Sheri stays up to date on changing real estate practices by being involved in both the Central Valley Association of Realtors and the California Association of Realtors. After many years of service, on dozens of committees, she continues to serve as a member of the Board of Directors for both associations. Sheri is somewhat involved in state and local politics, especially when it comes to ballot measures and laws that affect property rights and taxation. "I feel it is my duty to help protect my clients and my community." This BIG PLUS comes at no cost to her clients, and Sheri is not paid for these activities.

Sheri was born and raised in Stockton, which gives her the advantage of knowing the area very well. Sheri's real estate career began in 1990, at the beginning of what turned out to be one of the most dismal real estate markets in California's history. In the mid-90's she worked for the A.G. Spanos Company, as their Marketing Director in Spanos Park. Sheri feels the experience she gained there was invaluable to her career.
Later, when Sheri joined Partners Real Estate in 1998, it was a natural transition for Sheri to go from the Spanos Company to Partners Real Estate, and this is where "The Spanos Specialist" was born.
She uses her expertise to assist her clients in making homes purchases and sales throughout San Joaquin County. A high percentage of Sheri's business is in Spanos Park, Spanos West and the surrounding newer communities. One of the reasons for her success in Spanos Park involves her marketing skills. Sheri uses cutting edge technology to market her properties. The care and attention she puts in to every virtual tour, photo shoot and brochure shows how much she enjoys her work.
Sheri feels it is important to give back to the community that has given her such success. For example, for more than a decade, Sheri added a symbol of patriotism to the homes in Spanos Park each Fourth of July. Each year, she put out thousands of flags in the neighborhoods, with the help of the Boy Scouts. In turn, Sheri has donated money to to local troop, for their annual camping trips. Sheri has given funds to the area schools for special projects, and enjoys sponsoring a local Little League team, year after year.
Sheri also enjoys doing non-profit work in the community. She is on the Board of Directors for the Community Center for the Blind. She graduated from Leadership Stockton in 2003, which prepares people for leadership work in the community. Sheri is also a member of the Women's Success Group, whose primary function is to raise money for the Women's Center of San Joaquin County.
In her 'spare' time, Sheri likes traveling, entertaining, and doing home improvements. Sheri also enjoys wines and wine-tasting. She has over 100 bottles in her collection at home. Sheri loves to garden, grows her own herbs for cooking and has landscaped her yard with an abundance of colorful flowers, fountains and arbors...allowing her a peaceful retreat from the hustle and bustle of real estate. But when it comes right down to it....
